We show ponies on both the United States Hunter/Jumper Association (USHJA) and the Welsh Pony and Cob Society of America (WPCSA) circuits. We are very fortunate in our opportunity to have regular USEF "A and "AA" shows closeby, and it is great exposure for our young ponies becoming familiar with new surroundings.
Our pony showing program can start as early as foals/weanlings. This begins by them becoming accustomed to a typical show atmosphere. They are exposed at a young age to large groups of people and other ponies, as well as new environments, objects, and sounds. All ponies are taught how to stand, walk and trot in-hand, stand for grooming and braiding, and allowing clippers for trimming. The ponies really enjoy the extra attention, and the constant handling is wonderful for their developing minds.
